Pere Faura (Spain) - Sweet Fever
Sweet Fever is a choreographic loop of a famous dance move, the iconic group line dance from Saturday Night Fever. The Macarena from the seventies, always carried out by a large group of people in the one place of free expression in those times: the disco. Ritualistic and ecstatic, you found immediate pleasure there. Choreographer Pere Faura supervises fifty dancers and teaches them all the moves. The result is a hilarious, reflective (and considerably sweaty) clash between the dance from the seventies and the music of today, but also between the joy and ease of the silver screen and the feeling of physical exhaustion when you are actually the one dancing.
