In *Folk*, an exuberant club night gradually transforms into an intoxicating ritual. As the atmosphere shifts, so does the dynamic: the group forms a collective identity into which individuals are either absorbed or cast out. Eight international dancers bring to life the virtuosic choreography of Swan Award winner Dunja Jocić; her physically and technically refined style is rooted in classical ballet yet breathes the raw energy of Balkan music and dance. In *Folk*, she explores how collective forces emerge and just how seductive, confrontational, and frightening they can be.
