Les Ballets C. de la B. (Belgium) - En avant, marche!
Dramatist / choreographer Alain Platel, director Franck Van Laecke and composer Steven Prengels bring with En avant, marche! a tribute to the music association. Just in Flanders, there are about a thousand active ones. Royal Harmony Our Desire, Royal Fanfare Courage and Perseverance: mini societies themselves - collectives of diverse individuals who are trying to maintain the same march direction. As good as it gets, by trial and error: a strong metaphor for our society as a whole.
The four actors and seven musicians in En avant, marche! will be accompanied by a local brass band or fanfare.
