De Grote Kunstshow (Netherlands) - De Grote Kunstshow in Theater Bellevue
On Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th, De Grote Kunstshow will take over Theater Bellevue. Don't expect a standard exhibition, but a theatrical spectacle where visual art bursts from the stage. In an hour and a half, you'll delve into the minds of young artists who attempt to tame today's capricious world with masks, ceramics, role-playing, and cut-out collages.
From the intriguing masks of Carmen Schabracq to the absurdist ceramics of Koos Busters and the powerful cut-out collages of Neo Matloga, this edition demonstrates how art offers new ways of seeing to confront today's grim world.
With actors, music, and interviews, the artworks are not only displayed but also theatrically brought to life and analyzed for meaning. Milou Adjanga guides the audience through the show—sharp, engaging, and with provocative questions that make the art just that little bit more immersive.
