Catarina Miranda (Portugal)
Miranda is an artist working at the intersection of image, movement, voice, scenography and light. She approaches the body as a vessel for hypnagogic transformation and the visceral conscience of the present.
A graduate of EXERCE (ICI–CCN Montpellier) and Porto’s Fine Arts University, with additional training in Noh Theatre (Kyoto),
her performances and installations have been shown at Centre Pompidou, Palais de Tokyo, Serralves Museum, and international festivals across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
She is part of the vocal collective COBRACORAL and was nominated for the 2024 Salavisa European Dance Award (SEDA).
