() - Fractus V

Fractus V is o.a. gebaseerd op teksten van linguïst en politiek denker Noam Chomsky, door wiens pleidooi voor vrijheid van meningsuiting Cherkaoui zich als kunstenaar voelt aangesproken. De titel verwijst naarde natuurlijke breuk die vaak noodzakelijk is om te creëren, te groeien en te vernieuwen.

Cherkaoui danst Fractus V samen met vijf opmerkelijke hedendaagse dansers. De live uitgevoerde muziek komt van een al even divers gezelschap: de Japanse percussionist/zanger Shogo Yoshii, de Koreaanse zanger/muzikant Woojae Park, de Indiase Sarodspeler Soumik Datta en de Congolese zanger Kaspy N'dia.
