Crowd funding is hot, but organisations still seek ways to recruit sponsors, donors and friends.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Collecting-box\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zorgwelzijn.nl\/upload\/6ddbf9cb-609e-4ca0-b3a8-9447e6509844_ANP_Keeris_Goede%20Doelen_146.JPG\" alt=\"Collecting-box\" width=\"146\" height=\"146\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>That entails all kinds of activities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Finding potential donors;<\/li>\n<li>Keeping a record of who has been approached, when and how;<\/li>\n<li>Determining who has reacted to a mail or telephone campaign;<\/li>\n<li>Registering donations, and receiving and checking payments;<\/li>\n<li>Sending annual reminders and thank yous for gifts received.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a limited number of sponsors and donors or a tight-knit group run by volunteers, Excel is the perfect tool for recording addresses and donations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>However, you could also purchase a program for this purpose. <!--more--><\/p>\n<h4>What a program like that can do:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Document fundraising campaigns and measure their impact;<\/li>\n<li>Register donations per donor and per campaign;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare collection data for the bank;<\/li>\n<li>Create analyses of donor profiles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is a lot of fundraising software available: big or small, expensive or open source, stand-alone or integrated into a\u00a0<a title=\"CRM\" href=\"http:\/\/www.totheater.nl\/english\/crm\/\">CRM program<\/a>.
