About Facebook
Facebook is an extremely popular friend network for sharing messages, links, photos and videos with friends. I think Facebook is a fantastic platform for keeping contact with friends and colleagues from the past and present, as well as for exchanging recommendations about great performances, practical tips and the latest news about the internet, technology and social media. Moreover, I know all my Facebook friends. Logical? Not really, view this clip.
Facebook and the outside world
Theoretically, it should be possible to show the links you share on Facebook on Friendfeed. Here it tells you how to do just that. However, Facebook does not easily acknowledge defeat; on technical forums you can see how easy it is to share to Facebook, but not from it, which is why the links I share via Facebook are on this separate page.
RSS feed
It was a giant task to get those links here, but it works. The web builder created an RSS feed of the links in Feedburner, and fed that feed back into the site. Each link is accompanied by commentary and a picture; however Facebook is not quick to divulge these. So if you would like to know why I shared that link you will have to click on it.
What are Links?
Links on Facebook are not the same as status updates. On your wall you will find all your status updates, photos, videos and questions – in other words, your entire conversation. The links also appear on your wall, but only what you share via the Link button goes into your link feed.

Links is a Facebook application that you activate in your profile.

Once you’ve activated it you can then click on it to see your own links and those of your friends.
